+<p>2004 年夏，《歷史：理論與文化》第四期終於在歷經波折中付梓出版。</p>
+<p>本期文章與訪談內容於 2002 年間收稿完成，高晨揚的〈特爾慈論基督教信仰之歷史性〉一文是其碩士論文&mdash;《特爾慈的現代意識與歷史思維—海德堡時期， 1894-1914 》中的一章；陳致宏〈論朵伊森作品《希臘化時代史》的神意史觀與神義論思想〉是其碩士論文&mdash;《德國史家朵伊森的歷史思想與現實意識》中的一章。兩篇專文可視為十九世紀以來德國史學界中對於歷史理論的討論，也是歷史主義的代表人物。</p>
+<p>其次，延續刊物創刊時之規劃，每期專訪研治西洋史的學者，透過其經驗，使後學者有所借鏡。本期專訪西洋史學者王晴佳教授。王教授長久身處美國歷史學界，對於提供台灣學界有關近年西方史學的演變，多所貢獻。此次專訪提供了一位研究西洋史學學者的心路歷程，可作為刊物讀者對王教授的認識起點。</p>
+<p>本期書評一篇，陳思仁以其個人對史學理論中客觀性議題討論的興趣，結合其研究領域&mdash;美國史，評介納維克 (Peter Novick) 《高貴的夢想：「客觀性問題」及美國歷史專業》 (<cite>That Noble Dream: The &ldquo;Objectivity Question&rdquo; and the American Historical Profession</cite>) 一書。</p>
+<p>在此感謝提供文稿與訪談的學者，並對本刊物有所期待的學者與關心的前輩們由衷感。本於對西洋史研究的熱誠，下一期將以「意識型態」為專題，期盼學界對本刊物的持續支持。</p>
